Prof. Dr. Harald von Korflesch

Dr. Harald von Korflesch is a Professor for Entrepreneurship at the University of Koblenz-Landau and director of the Central Institute for Scientific Entrepreneurship & International Transfer (www.ZIFET.de). He has been responsible for the EXIST-IV-Project "Accelerating Entrepreneurship” by which the University of Koblenz-Landau was awarded as an excellent University for Entrepreneurship. He is also responsible for internationalisation in the think tank “denkFABRIK”.

The academic roots of Professor von Korflesch lie in the field of organisation and management science as well as business informatics. After finishing his PhD at the University of Cologne he visited the Sloan School of Management at M.I.T., the Japan Advanced Institute for Science and Technology and the Stern School of Business at New York University. He did his habilitation at the University of Kassel, Germany.

Since 2003 Harald von Korflesch dedicates his work the establishment of Entprepreneurship at the University of Koblenz-Landau. He is founder and co-founder himself and member of the advisory boards of several young corporations. His research and teaching topics include Entrepreneurship, Entrepreneurial Design Thinking, Innovation Management, Technology Management, Knowledge Management, Development of Methods and Instruments, Reputation in new Media, Customizing, Prototyping, and Transfer Science.
